Quax is a Belgian interior brand specialising in stylish baby and kids rooms, furniture and care essentials. Every design balances functionality, comfort and timeless elegance – created for families who value simplicity and calm at home.
Known for its thoughtful, serene design, Quax blends soft colour palettes and natural materials into pieces that grow with your family – from baby beds to nursing chairs. Our inspiration is rooted in Belgian design, enriched with global influences like Scandinavian and Japandi aesthetics.
We are committed to sustainability: we collaborate exclusively with FSC-certified partners for our room collections, and many of our products are manufactured in Europe.
Safety and ergonomics are at the heart of our design process – so parents can trust in products that feel as good as they look.
From nursery furniture sets (bed, dresser, wardrobe) to grow-with-you concepts that last into the teen years, our range is designed to adapt.
We offer a full selection of changing essentials (pads, changing tables with or without bath), high chairs, textiles, and decor items – as well as our signature rocking and nursing chairs.
To complete the picture: our on-the-go range includes strollers, travel cots, and practical accessories, always with the same focus on detail, quality and comfort.

DESIGN, SUSTAINABILITY & SAFETY
Yes. Sustainability is an important part of our design and production process. Our nursery furniture is made with FSC-certified wood, and whenever possible, we choose European production partners.
Most of our textiles – including the covers for our Nursing Chairs and Baby Bouncers – are Oeko-Tex® certified, meaning they’re free from harmful substances.
It depends on the product. We often work with:
- Solid beechwood and laminated particle board for furniture
- EVA foam for soft, waterproof items like the Mamee changing pad
- Muslin cotton and terry cloth for textiles
All materials are carefully selected for their durability, safety and comfort.
Absolutely. Every product that falls under European regulation complies with current EU safety standards. Our products are regularly tested for stability, quality and safety.
Yes. Each item is designed with both your baby’s development and your comfort in mind, from optimal seat heights to supportive backrests.
PRACTICAL
That depends on the product.
- Our cribs and bassinets are suitable from day one
- Many items are perfect for toddlers and preschoolers
- With our grow-with-you concepts, several items can be used until around 10 years of age
No. We use a safe polyurethane lacquer for the bars of our beds and playpens, that meets EU safety standards.
Need to touch up a small damaged area? Send an email to service@quax.eu with the product name and colour, and we’ll send you a touch-up paint stick.
With our Junior Kits, you can convert a baby or toddler bed into a larger junior bed (70 x 170 cm), extending its lifespan until your child is around 10 years old.
The kit includes extension pieces, an extended slatted base and – depending on the collection – a matching nightstand.
Available for: Yume, Hai No Ki, Flow, Ashi, Loft and Cocoon.
Each product comes with a printed manual. Lost it? No problem – you can find the latest version under “Downloads” on the product page on our website.
You’ll also find technical data sheets with all specs, materials and dimensions.

You’re welcome to visit our Sunday Showroom in Deinze, Belgium to explore the full collection. Please note: this is a viewing-only space.
Most retailers allow you to pre-order the item. Contact your preferred store for more details.
Important: never sign for a damaged delivery without noting it. Sign “under reserve for damage” and immediately contact your store.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
General guidelines:
- Wooden furniture: Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid aggressive cleaners.
- Textiles: Always check the care label. Washable from 30 °C to 60 °C, depending on the item.
- EVA foam (e.g. Mamee): Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Fully waterproof and easy to maintain.

STOCK SALE
During our factory outlet sale, we offer discounts on showroom models, end-of-series items, and products from quality control. You’ll find furniture, care items, textiles, toys, strollers, car seats and more – all at great prices.
We organise it twice a year – once in spring, once in autumn. Dates are always announced a few weeks in advance via our social media channels and Facebook event.
